Weekly Ride Schedule
Community Cycling Club of Portland
(CCCP) and Back Bay Bicycle organize
3 weekly
group rides for different riding styles and levels and which run from March
through the end of October. These range from beginner,
instructional rides to experienced, fast club rides. Riding with a group is
a great way to improve your riding skills and fitness level.

All rides leave from the shop at 333 Forest
Ave, Portland.

Helmets required. Lights, especially rear,
highly recommended.

Riders under 18 require waiver signed by
parent.

Road bikes, rather
than hybrid, strongly recommended for all these rides.
MONDAYS - 6:00 pm (5pm
early spring and late fall, 5:30pm late spring & early fall)

ROAD,
20-25miles, medium (16 -20mph), Middle Rd to Yarmouth, then back on Rte 88. 3 regrouping stops.
Opposite direction on alternate weeks.
THURSDAYS - 6:00pm
(5pm early spring and late fall, 5:30pm late spring &
early fall)

ROAD,
30-40 miles, fast and hilly, 18-22mph,, Falmouth, Cumberland,
Gray & back.
2 regrouping stops.
SATURDAYS - 8am

FOURTH
ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY WHITE MOUNTAIN RIDE
A gorgeous, challenging road ride over three White Mountain
passes . 82 miles, 6400 feet of
vertical climbing with breathtaking views. Includes the
infamous Hurricane Mountain Road with
it's 17% grade (Alternate route around Hurricane is
optional) Starts and ends in Fryeberg,
Maine but goes through New Hampshire. Hurricane, Pinkham and
Evans Notches.
